Petra resides in the beautiful but damp city of Portland, OR. During her relocation to the Pacific Northwest she got the idea that climbing mountains might the next necessary addition to her life. Through this blog she hopes to share the details of her mountaineering exploits and achieve a greater rate of success with the harebrained schemes she manages to concoct.
She currently climbs in the company of the Mazamas. She thanks them for enabling her to get through falls on the mountain with only a black eye and for helping her conquer (or work on conquering) her fear of steep snow fields.
She enjoys skunks, spending time with her cross-eyed Siamese, baking vegan summit treats, and cultivating hobbies that involve a high risk of personal injury.
